At our S.T.A.R. Summer Camp, we provide children with a safe and nurturing environment for them to do what they do best – be S.T.A.R.S. (Students, Takin' an Active Role Scholastically). They have the opportunity to play, relax, and enjoy a light yet healthy lunch and snack before classes begin. The philosophy behind our summer camp program is to provide a balance between structure and flexibility while simultaneously helping them to further explore who they are and what they like to do. To do this, we support them in their efforts to define their “YOU” factors - self-esteem, confidence, creativity, humor, compassion, empathy, responsibility, and initiative. Our summer camp program runs Monday through Thursday at our New Horizon center.
